I'm Saqib Shaikh, a developer from London, England. I've been programming since the age of 13 when I realised that this was a good outlet for my creativity, and unlike other hobbies like woodwork and pottery didn't require adults to be around :-). A whole bunch of years later, I still love making software - particularly hwen it improves peoples' lives in some way.

I currently work at Microsoft on Bing. Before Bing, I spent a few years in Microsoft Consulting Services helping customers develop on the Microsoft stack - from small startups to large enterprises like The NHS and Chevron.

Away from my computer I'm an avid reader, love listening to podcasts, and meeting new people.
